On December 24th and 25th, the EFAO U/12 team participated in the International Challenge Cup - Tokyo Grand Final Tournament after receiving a special invitation to participate in this annual tournament.
Twelve powerful teams from various cities in Japan, including the Barcelona Academy Japan, competed for two days under windy and cold weather.
Our U/12 team finished the tournament in third place, showing a fantastic team effort and demonstrating to be at the same high level of football competition as the other champion teams from Hokkaido, Chiba, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and more.
Despite the cold weather and injuries during the games, EFAO players exceeded our expectations by showing outstanding leadership and commitment to the game.
